Hatton v Mayweather Ricky pulls it out of the bag across the pond, against one of the best fighters of all time..Where no one gives him a prayer.. Mayweather shows a lack of respect at just how good Hatton is,it's too late and he's on his obnoxious arse by the time he realises... Hatton gets his own plinth in the pantheon of champions, comes out as the best pound for pound fighter on the planet, and goes down in boxing legend for eternity... Here's hoping:nod: The safe bet is Mayweather on points, but fuck that... What say you?

Big step up in class for Kahn that one... Decent British champ Earl was, seen him fight a few times. But he might be a bit past his peak and ready for plucking,if Frank Warren's lined him up for Kahn..

And let's face it,if Kahn's half the shit-off-a-stick he's meant to be he should trounce even a prime Earl.. Kahn could be open to the right hand, with a big puncher..might even be a bit weak around the whiskers, having been on his arse against Willie Limmond who is a good boxer, but could'nt crack an egg...

I would'nt say Earl could'nt put a fag out,but he was never a heavy hitter either.. Chances for Earl are slim,as Kahn is being match-makered softly,as all the bright young things are at first..Intriguing step up in class nevertheless

Earl beat both Bobby Vanzie, and Steve Murray in British title fights..Good operators..So there is a bit of class about him..What's he got left I wonder?

I would love to see Hatton knock Mayweather's fucking head clear off of his fucking body...Mayweather is a fucking cunt...

but it ain't gonna happen...

but it ain't gonna happen...

Lloyd Honeygan v Don Curry Randy Turpin v Sugar Ray Robinson Buster Douglas v Mike Tyson.. David v Goliath

This is boxing, anything can happen...I'm starting to fancy Hatton knocks fuck out him..I love an underdog.Especially when he's up against a dickhead.:yeah:

Hatton was'nt supposed to beat Kysta Tyzu either remember?A GREAT fighter!

He retired the fucker.

Granted,Mayweather is the best of the best..but he's taking it all a bit lightly, and even Ali came unstuck against Leon"äverage"Spinks when he did that... Surprising Mayweather is being so unprofessional, doing dancing shows on telly and believing Hatton is just a club fighter.. More fool him,Hatton is a fantasic boxer, with a chance..

What price is Hatton? i'm going to get me tenner on him if I can get 3/1 or better.

Jeffari-al-Texani wrote: I would love to see Hatton knock Mayweather's fucking head clear off of his fucking body...Mayweather is a fucking cunt...

but it ain't gonna happen...

why?

he's never fought a Ricky.

only one of his last five opponents have been under 30.

if Ricky can get close, and the Ref allows it, Ricky will defo hurt him. Ricky's the best body puincher i've seen, as long as he can get in there, and the Ref is fair. Ricky is not a dirty fighter. that's all bollocks.

and as for Mayweather being better than robinson or ali. what a load of tosh.

If Floyd is to win, it will have to be early. Coz Ricky can bang for 12 with anyone. Ricky will wear him down the longer it goes. no doubts.

If Mayweather is at his best then there is only one winner.. This guy has the best defence I've ever seen..and his hand speed is utterly blurring.. He's a five weight champ kershie,he's fought every fucker, and beat them handsdown.. He's easily in the Ali,Robinson,Leonard,class.. I have all his fights on Dvd,he's proper shit-hot!

But I don't think he'll be at his best, because he holds Ricky in too much contempt.. Hopefully his underestimation of Ricky,a great fighter himself, will be his downfall..We've seen it happen before.

I don't see Ricky getting knocked out early either, good chin big heart,no chance! This will go a few rounds, probably the distance..Unless Hatton gets Mayweather early.C'mon!!

thats fair enough. you've seen more of him than me. i know he is class.

but i've just got this funny feeling that Ricky will do it. as you say. when that bell goes, anything can happen. one on one. we've seen huge upsets before.

I obviously want Hatton to win, but I've got a feeling he's going to lose on a cut...

He cut badly earlier in his career and hasn't had one for a while and Mayweather punches accurately to say the least.

But nothing would surprise me here It's too close to call.

hatton all the way! really hope he wins cos this mayweather comes across as such a dick - read in the paper today that he carries at least $30,000 in cash at all times no matter what he is doing...

Stylewise, this is very similar to Leonard v Duran

Tommy Hearns was Ricky Hatton's idol, when he was coming through, hence the monicker "Hitman" But stylewise with the outstanding bodywork he dishes out,he's alot like Duran..Huge compliment to Ricky, but I believe he's that good...

And Mayweather,he's just like Ray Leonard, only with even faster hands unfortunately..Without the class of Leonard outside the ring though..

One things for sure, there will be no"No mas" from Ricky Hatton on Saturday... He'll be all over Mayweather like a rash, with his superb work-rate and body work.. Floyd will have to stay with him,or he'll get beaten up..

This is the big one:nod: So hard to make a prediction in a fight like this, and easy to end up with egg all over your face..Hatton wins on points,just....Been alongtime coming for boxing fans this one....I love this shit, can't wait!

I don't think its unsavoury at all. As for evidence, I know what he was capable of. I got a series of internal messages from a young lady regarding stuff he'd sent to her regarding myself, including the original messages he sent to her all C & P'ed.

In fact after it all kicked off, he sent me a predictable grovelling apology, which i also have in my inbox. I suspect this is cos he knew i had a final nail in the coffin for him, if i chose to wield the hammer blow.

I'll keep it all under wraps for a little bit longer. Thank feck i dont use my real name on here  Boss has been needing a reason to sack me for agessss..

Ah, Burt, I sent you a copy of the PM in question myself, with the apology, did I not?

As for the apology, I offered it because after talking with Popesy via PM, I figured I owed it to you:

Interesting insight into how seriously you took all this internet stuff at the time. Serious enough to fuck up someone's career.

YEAH YEAH YEAH. Like someone a) could be arsed b) have the time to elaborate such an internet plot involving lots of different people/fake people, and a certain person's employers.

From what I recall, you as a 55 year old man spent much of the time bragging about pursuing and meeting a 20 yo girl from this site with severe mental health problems, up to this point, in an obsessive manner. I won't mention her name cos she's like bloody Candyman. It was all a bit odd at the time, and i really can't see that there could be some mystery internet mastermind behind it all.

Guilty as feck if you ask me. Shame the offended person cant speak just in case it all gets sent to his employers again.

Let's say that there really was an email sent. That would be evidence, would it not? Evidence that could be investigated to prove, once and for all, that the accused was "guilty as feck"?

No evidence was ever presented to me or anybody else, let alone investigated for veracity.

Says it all in my book.

Hatton I hope, can't really stand the attitude of Mayweather. Since it's in the U.S. I just hope there's no scoring controversy (if Mayweather wins on points) that might lead to endless requests of a rematch from Hatton, and endless refusals of such from Mayweather.

Great to see so much support for Hatton over here though

I'd love Hatton to win tonight, i really would. But my money has gotta go on 'the money' if i'm honest. The height difference and reach advantage won't make too much diff if Ricky can play his game and get inside. He was 2 pound lighter at the hillarious weigh in but he'll put that on today.

I don't believe its as much about Ricky tonight. As we all know he's never looked better or prepared better.

I think it's more to do with how FM has prepared. He looks chuffin amazing, so I don't think that'll be a problem. It's mentally if he's ready for the initial onslaught that may be telling. If he can (may)weather that, and I have a feeling he can, then I think that he may well see him off late on maybe a stoppage through cuts.

Like i say, hope i'm wrong, cos he deserves it. And fair play to all the Gorton crew that i used to work with for going over.

All the best Ricky lad.
