Much better things you could be doing. Still, the pub beckons at midday!

I came in at 10, finish at 12, with a buffet laid on. I'm refusing to work, they get enough out of me the rest of the year.

In work from 2300 until 0700 tomorrow.

Tonight's workload will be

6 idiots phoning to see what time the local passport office opens. 3 people with nothing but alcohol in their veins who want to donate blood 2 people who want to buy some blood. 18 calls from members of staff phoning to say happy xmas 180 from members of staff phoning to annoy us. and 250 calls from mobile phones in pockets, the mkost intelligent of all conversations, and it's good to sit doing nothing, while appearing to be working, until their credit/battery expires.

What is the point?.. You are hardly gonna do anything in a couple of hours surely. And how much does a buffet cost?

What telly's on that's worth watching on Xmas Eve?! 101 Dalmations or some other Disney tosh?!

Got up Saturday morning and sat in catching up with Virgin Catch Up - Buzzcocks, Lead Balloon, Boosh. That's about all I can watch on the Beeb these days.

What number do you want us to call then?

The trick is to see the number on the tv, type it into your phone for later use, then shove the unlocked phone into your trouser pocket in a club at 3am.....nature then takes care of itself.

Starting at 14:30.

Meant to finish at 11pm but my last train home is about 9pm so hopefully the Night shift guy is coming in at Seven or Eight so I can fuck off.

Then it's a case of finding a late night petrol station to start the crimbo shopping :thumb:

Watched the last Spooks on demand this morning.

Adam really is a total arse :nonono:

Harry had the best two lines of the series...

About us having more success against the Spanish and then the one about Scots being the most agressive Empire builders and some still being at it.

Usually I would be working at that time but since I'm unemployed right now, I'm "off". Generally I never mind working during Christmas because I'm atheist, but New Year's is truly dear to me - I once even quit my job just because they wanted me to work all night long during New Year's.

a light day today, only worked about 4 hours, and not very hard at that. Will probably make up for it with longer work days Wednesday through Friday though. Bastards!

So is it the unemployed that tend to venture into NOOL -or- is that NOOL is a direct cause to unemployment?

i was, i work as a courier, and i was dreading they would give me some job to some obscure place that not many people have heard of, i was sent on the turkey run with no sat nav or map, just a printed paper map which was kinda out of date. how i got back quicker than getting there, i do not know, perhaps i just used some common sense, lol

the point is that there was hardly any jobs going, so i thought shit, i should of taken the week off, lol
