My point in a nutshell!!!!! You felt a bit odd. You put it down to maybe mixing your booze with your Sudafeds (plausible). Now, because you've read about the "spiking sensation that's sweepin' the nation" you've reinterpreted your experience and believe that you were spiked too!

aye , lying in a field in sussex in summer one year and bees kept saying heloooooooo!!!! in a buzzy way when they flew past.And the rows of high trees took on the appearance of massive castle walls/football terraces.clouds were having an orgy in the sky

Was Funnies also known as Dolly Greys???? Under the railway bridge?????? Proper shithole. Flamin bouncers had bouncers.

yea dolly's was of the same,between 1983 and 1993 i spent a lot of time in hope and anchor and funnies.i suppose funnies was like accy's version of the 'top hat' !!,now that was a fooking rough un 
I once had my drink spiked. Not sure what it was, but I knew I had to get out of there. I tell you the drive home was interesting. I just suddenly felt mega drunk and when I got home I couldn't sleep for a whole day. I hope that never happens again.

- charging you for driving whilst drunk.
- letting you go as you are the victim of a "spiker"...

I wasn't drunk. I only had a couple of drinks. but it felt like 30.
Luckily I'm cursed with this brain that is almost impossible to knock out, but these days it is trying.

Hope n Anchor in the 80s was one of the pubs on the circuit u had to go in before goin up to Rumours/Shifters.Havnt been in Hope for a few years..believe a lot of Bikers use it now.Tend to frequent the Attic Bar now..live bands/great music. U an Accy lad/Rovers Banshee.?

just remembered you have been in attic bar mate!. anyway its not that eddie grant.its a local bloke also called eddie grant.actually youv'e met him monty.he came in the jubilee across from king georges when we were in the night before the mozzer gig.he was after swapping a seated ticket
