Good news for someone who has been trying his hardest not to add the application and inevitably get hooked on this, though... Given the amount of time I waste on the Times Saturday cryptic crossword, Scrabulous would be an absolute nightmare...

I won't miss it that much. Until a version comes out immune to people using cheat programs, then its useless anyway.

There always were. I used to play it loads on Yahoo Literati. The difference with that was you could see your opponent moving his tiles and trying words. If they came straight out with a ridiculous word, straight off the bat, you knew they were cheating.

In Scrabulous its pretty obvious; you'll see a glut of silly words appearing, a sudden massive upturn in form etc. Pointless stuff though.
