I'm not a fan of their music, but to be honest, their fans - uttergimps they may be (bar the ones we know personally, natch) - do 'get into the spirit of all' so it makes for a decent atmosphere. Expect a bit of moshing.

You should probably wear some camouflage gear though. Or a hat. And carry a stuff animal of some kind.

npower put my bills up twice last year.Then there was the announcement the other week that , erm , they are going to put their prices up.Then this week they announce they will keep prices fixed til 2011 (after they've rocketed their prices).They said that last year if i remember right.

Actually i have been listening to BSP recently.Not bad really. Was tempted to buy their latest single whilst in MANCHESTER on MONDAY but got scared that i might bend the covers.I purchased 40 PLASTIC 12inch sleeves instead.£3 for 5! :crazy:

British NPower well and truly suck. Disgruntled customers fed up of being ripped off year in year out and then have to stomach their nauseating Price Fix scams as if this is a way of atonement for their corporate greed should do best to send as many letter bombs to the fucking fat cat chief executive as possible. If only to stop him enjoying creaming off the inevitable profits that would inevitably follow as a result of this latest price fix con. Decent gig, glad I went. Quite entertaining, the seem to like this crowd surfing lark. Wasn't exactly packed either so the guitar player fell a few times when attempting to crowd surf

Get out there and buy the new BSP album Do You Like Rock Music. It is truly awesome. And then go and see them wherever they are. Deja vu....I said similar in 2003 when Decline of first came out. I hadnt seen them then but was so blown away by them that they have almost replaced NO in my long term affections. In fact it was someone on here all those years ago who mentioned BSP and I thought what a fucking stupid name, so stupid that i will have to find out more. One track, Down on the Ground, on the new BSP album, has a small part which sounds just like part of a NO track on Technique but I cant recall which one whilst the start of it is very New Ordery when the keyboards kick in.

It is indeed in the top 10. I think a few BSP fans are pinching themselves. The album's had brilliant reviews - and rightly so, it's fantastic.

What's was that you called the fans El Jarvo? Makes a change from 'po-faced librarians' I suppose!

Top band. The album got good reviews in the broadsheets, so the Manchester University gig was full of smug couples talking and to-in-and-fro-ing to the bar all night. Just as Arcade Fire have been hijacked by the middle classes.

Big up Andy Macmahon and the Puressence massiv though!
