Well, he was kind of a Cold War hero, but his attributed anti-semitic statements later in his life left me kind of cold, to be honest.

one of the most controversial sports figures (if you really consider chess as sport). Made a lot of anti-american and anit-jewish statements in his life, and took refuge in a number of contries, including the Philippines, where he made more controversial interviews in local radio stations here...
