Jeff, I don't mean a literal pie eater, but I'm sure you've heard the expression "eating pie" when referring to eating out a woman.

Bob prolly eats all available pies, whether they are gay or not. Bob is tolerant and enjoys all pies, whatever they may be. Bob has found the "cure" and it is pie, not suicide. And cake. And cookies.
