I pick The Patriots and The Giants. Oh you mean the games have already been played? Crap, my prediction powers sucks!!!

Two Weeks of imodium inducing coverage from the two most over saturated, bloated self important places in the universe, Boston and New York!!! The Patriots will have their coronation in order. I cannot stand them No class and they cheat. Ok, so everyone cheats, but like my momma once said "If all your friends are jumping off a bridge, does that mean it's right?"

OMG if the Pats win every ESPN jagoff will have a spontaneous orgasm and shoot their loads. DISGUSTING!!

DAMMIT! I was really hoping fer the Chargers... they've been my team since they originally had the white helmets... so close to, granted I knew the Pats were going to push 'em around, but really hoping for a Chargers victory like in 1995...

I hate the Gaints, always have, always will... I usually love the Pats, but I also don't like how they just dominate over all the other teams.... guess I'll go Pats, which is strange since I usually root for the underdogs...

I predict it'll take two teams of Steroid poisoned semi-sentients 6 hours to play a dull game of rugby.

Still I suppose it gives the seppos a sport they can be better than others at, which is nice for them.

now now steve, you can stop that - there is more than one pass per "play" in rugby for a start.

The Giants seemed charmed at this moment by winning THREE road playoff games. And, they gave the Pats all they wanted during the last regular season game.

Both the Giants and the Pats seem like teams of destiny at this point. But, in the end I have to go with the team who has the better talent. That would be the New England Patriots.

Steve's just jealous that a better game has the official title of 'football' rather than his subservant game of soccer...:evil4:

In fact, the correct name of the game is Association Football.

Of course, the only countries not to call it "Football" are those countries which have always been shite at it so therefore had to invent their own version, where most of the time the ball is in the hand.

That would be Ireland, America and Austrialia.

Cool we invented rugby. You learn something new here everyday.

Just where is Austrialia though?

Yer lucky you don't have to suffer through 4 hours of televised pre-game blather before the game even starts.... city baby.

Isn't this the year for the two-week hiatus before the "big game"......don't wanna step on any sensitive business toes for unauthorized use of "S*p*r B*wl"? Great, add two weeks of avoiding ESPN, Sportsline, etc. for me

Not that I'll be watching it anyway, I'm sure Fulham/Aston Villa will be much more compelling viewing......

Go Giants at any rate, my buddy Colin will be happy.

Why the hatred toward the Giants Edel? Are you a Cowboys, Redskins, or Eagles fan? Just curious.... It'd be nice to see that kid from Philomath and Western Oregon get a ring though.

Not that I'll watch much of the game tomorrow (I'm still itching to see There Will Be Blood )....but I do now really find myself rooting for the Giants to win. In this superficial world we live in, there's no harm in dipping a toe or two into those shallow waters from time to time, cause after reading this CBS Sportsline story, if the Patriots lose the game, Gisele Bunchen will run naked through the streets of Manhattan. ;) A win-win situation as far as I'm concerned.:thumb:

 at yr. point about the names, as for the parties, the drink is the most important thing (used to stave off the boredom of a televised event being dragged out mercilessly, for starters). As for who won, I'm sure someone who really cares about the thing much more than I do will answer your question. Back to the :beer2: now.

Hell no I'm not a Redskins or a Cowboys fan.

All my hate goes back to childhood dislikes... which are, in fact.... pretty childish...

I hate the Giants because they have, bar none, the lamest helmet in the NFL (a close second is the Browns)... Names on the helmets are just lame (this includes the Jets)

I always liked underdogs as a kid and hated the one everyone band wagoned on, so this counts for my hate for: Cowboys Bears Redskins 49ers Dolphins

Hate the Raiders as its the favorite around the area for Mexican gangbangers.

My likes are just as reasonably childish as well -

Chargers are my favorite, as I grew up in San Diego (plus they have been the underdog any time the went or came close to the super bowl)

I like the Patriots as this was the same mascot as my High School.

I like the Eagles, Falcons, Packers, Cheifs because I liked their helmets and colors.

All expansion teams I have no emotions over, as they were formed after my feelings were formed for football teams. They deserve no waste of time to contemplate such nonsense.

All other teams I have no emotion for... more or less they are kinda like that guy in the red shirt that beams down with captian Kirk that you just knew was gonna get it sooner or later.
