Well, it seems there is no way to avoid this, until England lose to Brazil :D (Hey, I know nothing about it, so don't blame me!!), so while we're at it.

Anyone knows the actual rank of Canada in the FIFA standings? Very curious to know that, for sure we suck, we're the only North American team not there, and believe it or not, football (or soccer as we call it) is the #1 sport played in the country since 3 years, it has always been Hockey so far, times change. The reason should be of course the massive immigration Canada gets every year..

Well, that is quite.... shitty!!

But we won the gold in Hockey at the last olympics, so I'm good.

Canada won a big match against a big team a while ago, then they were invited to the America's cup or something like that in Puru. But Canada dropped out, and ever since then They have sucked.

But since I lived in Brazil for awhile I'm going for them

Go Brazil GO

And your right, we got our Hockey Back!!!

Canada's involvement in the 2002 World Cup ended two years ago, when they were eliminated at the Preliminary Second Round qualifying stage. They made it past the first round by beating Cuba 1-0 over two games, but failed at the next hurdle by finishing third in group behind Mexico and the mighty Trinidad and Tobago.

Even we cracked the damn top 50 and it's a fourth-string code here!

Above the likes of Scotland it appears... That must hurt some of you, who shall remain nameless. ;)

Attack of the Clones ... good or bad?

The whole package is the most visually stunning piece of work ever to be served before my mince pies. A cross stylistically between Blade Runner, The Fifth Element and Gladiator, with a bit of Italian(Amalfi coast) dreamscape thrown in for good measure but taken technological to whole new degree and then crashing back to the seventies with some great retro touches as R2D2 and C3P0 are ressurected even though it is seemingly before there time, back to the future indeed.

Toughie.

It's copped a lot of flak from some quarters, castigating trite dialogue, wooden acting, incoherent plot, overuse of digital imagery, loss of 'the magic' and the like.

On the other hand, a great whack of punters are calling it the best in the series (!), celebrating a return to form after the schmozzle that was Ep 1.

I quite enjoyed it. There were some breathtaking battle scenes, plenty of the Fett family, Yoda and Windu show some slick moves, magical CG, cool new characters and harware, etc. And it sets Ep 3 up to be a cracker. I will see it again, partly because I'm a sad fan and I have a hundred or so of the original trilogy action figures stashed in a dusty Vader helmet somewhere.

It's good. A lot reckon Spidey's better but I beg to differ.

BTW, I just watched 'A New Hope' again and spotted some real continuity issues arising from events in Eps 1 and 2.. Intriguing.

Surely the tummy revelation was usurped by the "Isn't it cold in this dropship" attentive form of her Naboobians?

I'm never actually seen a rugby game, so don't ask me how it goes.. I don't even know if they play it.

We have all major "American" sports, since we are the one who invented Basketball and Ice Hockey.. we have baseball (not for long!), we have a professionnal soccer league, but I guess the calibre is pretty low, we have Canadian Football, which is different from the American Football (size of the field, amount of players and we have 3 downs instead of 4), what do we have also?!

Very good, much better than ep I (OK, it wasn't a difficult challenge to win), with a good scenario. It just lacks the sense of humour of the initial trilogy (although there is some humour in the execution arena scene). I've already seen it twice, and I think I'll go for a third round soon.
