Well the new Lost series starts Thursday! Anyone else excited over this obvious marketing wonder like myself?
The twist on the last episode last season (waaaaay too long ago) really threw in a good wrench....

I will be downloading it and watching it over the weekend.
Doubtless I'll start hoarding them after that though. One thing about Lost, I don't enjoy watching just one at a time - much prefer to save a fair few up then watch them all in one hit.

Its the only way to watch these things, same with 24 and Prison Break.

It was, as it was suppose to start the season last Fall, but they waited until Feb to start the series. From what I understand, the whole season has been filmed yet, but they will be showing the ones that were completed before the strike....
As for watching them in a series, its kinda like eating a small bag of M&Ms when you where a kid.... do you enjoy eating the whole bag at once, or savor each one, one at a time... hard call (ahhhh, the difficult decisions of childhood)
Still got the previous season box set sitting on top of the dvd player waiting to be watched... probably should get on with it so I'm ready for the downloads...
my heart's all a pitter-patter waiting for tomorrow night!
do you think charlie's really dead?

Yes. Yes he is. Sorry, but yes.
l share your anticipation of the show's return--too bad it's only for 8 episodes, we'll all be left hanging yet again!
Virgin Media have dropped the second season so they can show the third, so I'm missing half the second season. I like it so far and would like to catch up. I don't want to watch episodes out of sequence, so looks like I'm f**ked. ![]()

I have a feeling Charlie comes back... it is after all, the Island
Well looking forward to downloading this.Still want to know who's funeral it was!! And does Jack want to go back???

Really? I haven't seen a single episode of the third season because , erm, Virgin Media lost in that ruck with Sky last year.So this will be handy for me.Could have downloaded them spose but can't be arsed
My attentions span's too short... Can't remember half of the stuff that happened in the last series, too be honest it all got a bit too far out for me really... Missus'll probably watch it though when it returns...
Snorri xxx
Anyone in the US watch that recap of the season 3 finale with pop-up notes last night? kinda lame & useless--way too much information for anyone to really catch up on anything...

that video link is still working for me... I just love Emerson, he's really great.

What, season 4 is only 8 episodes? I might actually get off my arse and download it then if it's just 8.

No, I think it's actually supposed to be 16 episodes. But they only got to complete the first 8 before the writers' strike hit. So there will most likely be a longish break before the rest of the season airs....
Does anyone know where the last half of season two can be downloaded? Not much point in me watching Season three otherwise...
Johnny - Season Three starts on Virgin Media Channel 119 tomorrow - 1st February.

No comments on this then?
Just more of the same, weren't it? I do find just watching one of these episodes at a time rather pointless too. Think I'm gonna save up the next few, then watch 'em in one hit.
Only real question is - who are the Oceanic six? Hurley, Jack, Kate and ???
Gonna watch the whole of season 3 on Virgin Demand in one sitting. That's 23 fcuking episodes![]()
Never see enough of it to understand what plot points are important and significant...? Saw some of the new episode last week.
Seems like the show is about people who have withdrawn from reality because of problems and have escaped into the fantasy of the "lost island" together.... some are fighting to reclaim reality, others are fighting to stay in the fantasy and avoid reality. The fatfuck guy is the only guy who admits that he is kinda crazy and is living in both worlds. The hobbit guy who I guess drowned after writing a message that is important about reality on his hand visited the fatfuck guy in the asylum (in reality) cause the hobbit is not really dead (in reality)... at least that seems like what the show was implying (not very subtle).
Am I even close on anything here?

yep. was wondering the same thing. and also: when jack visited hurley, and hurley said 'are you afraid i'm going to tell?' hmmmmm.

Well there is the one dead one that Jack doesn't care for... from new york visiting in LA, making him want to commit suicide. That throws off the idea that people are in fantasy worlds, as they truely can die. My first thought was that it was either Benjamin or Sawyer... that leaves only two more for the Oceanic 6.... probably the dentist and his wife?
Everyone watching this new series?
Can't say I'm that impressed so far. Thought this week's episode, set in Berlin (didn't make much of an effort to make it look like Berlin, did they!) was a bit far fetched.
Still, I'll continue watching. ![]()
I ain't watched since Season 1...series one...call it what you will...
I never got the hoopla over this one...
but I like two and a half men, so go figure...
