Anyone see this last night?

Couple invent wonderful avatars for themselves in Second Life, then fall in lurv, etc etc. Bird leaves hubby and kids in America to fly to England to see what her fellas like in real life.

Bit sad, but didn't stink of desperation. The Yank bird was alright in a flame-haired MILF kinda way. And the English bloke seemed genuinely sound.

Only really odd bit I thought was the English couple who were seeing each other in 'real life' and were about to get married, but had already had a marriage in 'second life' with (I quote) 'all their friends there'. Having them crow and coo over a set of computer images on a laptop seemed rather bizarre.

Anyone here ever indulged in a bit of Second Life? I've barely got time to keep this life ticking over without going elsewhere...

Looked at it briefly, but found it kludgy and annoying, not been near it since.

All seemed rather pointless. All the blerks were big strapping fellas with shotguns and machetes (why?!) and all the birds were uber-chicks with huge knockers and short shorts. Oh, and big boots.

Wasn't there a rape reported on Second Life recently? (Or did I just make that up? :scratch: )

Will maybe download that show though if I spot it.

I think I just took a default style avatar, certainly didn't indulge in any design.

Played through the "training" bit and got to the sort of sandbox for new users, got bored, closed it.

BOUND to be a couple of folks on NOOL who have vast tracts of land in sadville.

Think you may be right about the rape.

It is certainly the case that the place is plagued with enormous flying penises at various times. theregister is usually the best place for a 2nd life giggle.

That's right, they've dropped the requirement to pay an american corporation in order to watch programmes I already paid for. I haven't looked at it yet, this would be a good chance.

a couple of my mates spend far too much time in SL, one of them regularly spends hours and hours on it every night, to the detrement of her degree and her kids :nonono:
