i will probably go to the nyc one. My friend wants me to go. Saw modest mouse a few times ,always good, but these were way back. Never a rem fan, but stipe is good.

I honestly don't think I could sit through an REM gig.

A good way to see Modest Mouse for free though; leave after the support and sell your ticket to some desperate REM fan outside. My friend does it in Aberdeen all the time.

Not just REM and Modest Mouse either: she does it for loads of gigs where she wants to see the support and isn't interested in the main act.
