Hmmm, by "plans" you mean those useless warrantees?
My wee sister, decided that the machine I offered to build her for £500, would be eclipsed by one bought (against my specified and clear advice) from PCworld for £1200, I think she had it in her head that a PC's case is part of the machine and that any high power box I might build would doubtless come in a hideous enclosure....like all my own machines. Aside from the fact that, as predicted, my £500 offer could have eaten the fucker for breakfast while doing fermat's last theorem in it's head, she also signed up for their extended warrantee, £24 quid a month.
I told her that in a year she would have paid considerably more into this than a year old underpower crapheap (in a pretty case) would be worth.
She scoffed.
So when her monitor developed a red stripe which widened until there was nowt but a slither of actual screen, she called PCworld.
"I'm sorry, that device is still under the manufacturer's 12 month warrantee, you'll need to contact them"
"ahhhh but I'm paying you £24 a month for instant sorting out"
"yes, but that only applies outside the manufacturer's warratee period"
"so in other words, I will pay you £288 before you'll do a damn thing for me, and meantime I have to send a big LCD screen back to uzbekistan or somewhere"
(much attempting to toe party line from the droid, and much badgering from Rachael)
then....
"well, yes"

don't do it, live without the commission, sell drugs instead.
Although most of the clients of my work are governemt agencies, there are the occassional dodgy bullshit ones too, and those of us in at night, must handle them all. We had this one for selling those electrocution belts for lazy fat cunts. Firstly, they rang to spend £20 to avoid excercising, but we were suppose to upsell that to £80 with things they didn't need (we were told as much too), we refused as we'd all been repeatedly assured, including in writing, that our job did not entail any telesales shite. BUT, it got worse, there was this offer thing you had to try and sell them at the end of the call. It was for vouchers or a discount card or something (for REALLY obscure shops), and a free CD. The script was cleverly worded to sound like it was costing them £1. In fact it cost £1 for the first month and £6.99 for the next 11 months......all of which would be taken in a single advance payment!!!!!!!!!!!
We downright refused to do it, telling our boss (who was no more thrilled himself) that it was a matter of legal record that the Nuremburg defence was not a valid one and that we would not take part in what we considered fraud or at least deception.
It only lasted about 2 months, then the brass found out that the account manager who brought it with him when he joined, had been on Watchdog (errrrm, slightly painful consumer rights show) twice already for running simillar nonsense in other otherwise reputable contact centres. His arse was fired SO fast, in probably the most honourable decision ever made in that place.
So stand up to it mate, let the man with the small cock have all his pilfered sales, do the minimum stipulated in anything written you have. And work on ways of irritating him.....I reccomend you watch "how to irritate people" by John Cleese, Michael Palin etc......
