Saw this on the news last night and my initial reaction was didn't it finish already some years back?
I recall watching the very first episode.First few years it was good but went off a bit.Best looking bird i seem to remember off the top of my head was Zammo's missus

Yeah, she was Zammo's bird. Always thought she came across as being a bit 'dirty'. Didn't she go to a rival school, and then they merged?!

Did anyone see that Justin Whathisface program when he tried to get the 'Just say No' crew back together a few years back and the mixed-race lad (can't remember his name - Kevin?) was dead deep about the whole thing and didn't want to be involved again but admitted they were all doing loads of drugs when they went over to the US to promote their message.
Anyone remember when they had an end-of-term party and all of them (girls included) turned up in proper rascal-wear. Everyone in Pringle and Tacchini and the girls in Farahs (I used to love girls in Farahs!).
Had a thing for Cathy Hargreaves in me yoof, but just remembered the tall posh bird at the back of this pic. Always did like posh birds too.

Didn't realise it was still going... They used to film some outside bits near where I lived - the bst thing about watching it was seeing if you could spot places you knew...

Nope, not quite. David Scarboro played the original Mark Fowler, but he weren't Gripper Stebson. The lad who played Gripper was in the BigIshooo a couple of years back. Can't remember why, think he was seriously down on his luck and they did a big article on him. Not sure if he was actually a seller for them?
Just googled the lad who played the original Mark Fowler and apparently he had to leave the show because he refused to perform as a 'racist' character - apparently the Beeb wanted Mark Fowler to be a racist!
Yusef. Terry Sue Pratt (there's a name to conjure with!). He used to work in a gents clothing shop down Upper Street about 10 years ago. My mate Goat got talking to him, and mentioned the Firm, then said, quite casualy, "And what happened to that Gary Oldman bloke who was in it with you?"
I once had a few beers with the lad who played the big Dread in Easties, Gripper's enemy - was he called Clyde, or was that his character in Easties? He was drinking on his own in the Swiss in Muzzy Hill and joined us one night. Nice lad.
mr bronson was in star wars & played hitler, but surely mr bronson was his scariest character?
Obviously I havnae watched it since I was at school, but sad to hear they are binning it a la TOTP.
Favourite era was the Zammo & Ziggy years, mainly cos I can remember them the best.

I saw Todd Carty on the train back from Wolverhampton just before Christmas - had just woken up before we got into Euston and thought "Blimey, that's Tucker Jenkins!"

Its a shame they dont reshow the old episodes. Or is it best left to the endless bin of nostalga? I mean sometimes when you see programmes or films years later (that you thought were ace as a kid), they arent quite as you remember them. IE theyre complete tosh.
I think up to mid 80s the show was excellent. It did cover alot of serious subject matter and had a good array of characters and stories. But kids nowadays are so different to when I was one. We never had gangs and knives. We were quite content with conkers, marbles and BMXs.

You can get 'em all as torrents. I downloaded most of the first series then just thought when am I gonna bother watching these? Or, indeed, why?
Then I deleted them all. Some things are best left to memory!
