um, what's a pasty?
I had frozen vegan enchiladas + vodka & OJ.
Fine if you want to eat vegan...
...but why does vegan food have to imitate "meaty" foods and have fake meatloaf and fake chicken and fake hamburger and fake bacon? Fake enchiladas? These fake foods look and smell disgusting, it's hard to even give them a try...thou I always was that picky kid who wouldn't try anything.
whaddaya mean fake meaty foods. could just be veggies & beans & rice etc. too, as in this case.
I feel like vegans in general are divided on faux meats. Some are OK, I haven't encountered any that were particularly disgusting (e.g., tofu pups are no more disgusting than the hot dogs I used to have as a kid... and slightly healthier, I'd venture). But yeah, probably better to eat unprocessed vegetables than processed soy.
Oh and thanks to my Texan friend for posting that pasty-thing. So that's what those are. (At least there are all those all-you-can-eat buffets down there in TX, so that's perfect if you feel you need more food....)
