Didn't realise there was footage of this. Four dead, several injured. Tragic and all that but there's a certain comedy value in the way the big chap dives below the decks when he eventually realises what's going on.

No great leap in the dive. He'll never make it...
5/10, with a mention for effectiveness and simplicity.
Who the fuck was sad enough to record someone standing there like that though? Unless he knew there was going to be a shooting.
I'd have shot the placed up myself if I'd paid good money to get into a club with a soundsystem so quiet it could be drowned out by the punters chatting. Love the pill heads whistling for music with a bunch of stiffs on the deck, tasteful. Thou surely the height of dodgy taste goes to whatever cold cunt tagged an advert onto the video....."this massacre was brought to you by........."
I don't think there's much shame in leaping for cover, you can be big and fat and hard, but not lead resistant.
I miss Belfast circa 1985, jumping on a drinks carton in Royal avenue sent half the city diving into flowerbeds and bins ![]()
It was in Venezuela. There's another youtube clip of the same night, taken earlier on. There were fireworks behind the stage - looked like a good doo.
The guy that posted the other video did quite a nice write up (can't access it from work) which basically said good night, lights were fantastic, Cox played a blinder, sadly a few people were killed so the night ended early.

I was having a beer outside a bar one afternoon in Manchester about ten years ago. There was rapid gunfire and screaching tyres so I dived under the table we were sat at. None of my mates flinched, so I assumed I'd made a bit of a dick of myself by reacting to a car backfiring(well I had really, the table was made from wood, not kevlar). But no, it really was an armed robbery at the Mercedes garage around the corner. My mates were so numb to it all they didn't really react when the gang screamed past us in their new cars; jsut tutted a bit and carried on with their beers.
Ahh happy days!
Once saw Carl Cox at the Ministry.
My mate had never seen him before, so asked what Carl Cox looked like so that he knew when he was on.
I said you can't miss him. Massive black lad. Shaved head. Neck's thicker than his head. Sweats buckets.
My mate said, Cheers Al, I won't bother asking you again.
No pleasing some people. ![]()
