My Sky box has broke for the 2nd time in under 6 months this morning and Susan from Delhi claimed they cannot get anyone out to fix it before 3rd march AT THE EARLIEST!!!!!!!

Stop the direct debit. I'm sure they'll suddenly find an earlier time.
dont know whos worse. sky or nt-hell.
sky kept charging me for broadband, even when i had moved and closed down account. also they say it takes up to 5 working days to get broadband installed. i waited 11 weeks without success.
as for ntl. we waited in all day for an engineer only to see his van drive straight past our turning at the appointed time. when we spoke to ntl they said he had called but no one was in.
conclusion - all service providers are cunts!
Are you sure it's the box? Twice in 6 months is pretty unlucky.
Sky use some proper dodgy subcontractors for whom actually aligning the dish and tightning it up seem to be a bit too much.

Just ring up and say yopu want to cancel your subscription. As mentioned, its amazing how quickly smeone can come out then and how keen they are to give you Sky Sports free for six months.
