Queueing for REM tickets yesterday, I realised that the only other time I'd seen them live was on the Green tour in 1989.

Anyone else waited 20-odd years between gigs?!

Haven't seen REM since 85, in a 3000 seat theater, just haven't taken up the idea of seeing them in larger venues around here, either they didn't play here or the record they were touring behind was weak.

Saw some posting the other day about a possible US tour for Wire this fall, that'd be about the same length of time as well, but I would go see that for sure.

siouxsie - last night,21 years got cure tickets for london,thats about 21 years since last time last year saw the stranglers 3 times after same type of number of years. only time i'll beat that so far is if the wurzels play.

o ive got a brand new combine harvester :nod:

the wurzels still play regularly. pretty much the same set except they do don't look back in anger now. :nonono:

Lost a lot of enthusiasm for going out and seeing name bands, only watched local acts and played a load of gigs myself.
