Dirty Dancing obviously, a heinous atrocity most vile.
Being female, you would not understand, you all (along with rampant homosexuals) love that awful awful movie.
Ohhhh I've had, the last of my life.....
EDIT: I bet you though you were in for a patent Doctor? "not a lot of people know this" moment too
.

Not ALL females love that movie. Shame on you, Steve!

Steve - he gets his shirt off a lot and you can even see his bum (very briefly) at one point.
Not my thing, of course, but I've had girls flicking the bean in front of me just recalling certain scenes. And I'm not joking or being a potty-mouth for the sake of it here, but memories of that film get womenfolk from their late-teens to their late-30s gushing.

The worst part about Dirty Dancing is that you HAVE to enjoy it with a f'ing smile on your face... it's the difference between getting laid and sleeping in the rain...
The best thing about Dirty Dancing is that it inspires your Mrs to say, 'I don't want to watch this shit, shall we put New Order on instead?'
Beautiful woman + Pizza/Curry + beer + New Order = ![]()

There's people on the pottery wheel, they think it's all over.

Nonsense, it's like men and wanking....... 90% of chicks love Dirty Dancing, and 10% lie.
And Frads, I think you're probably right about the lubricating qualiiities too, but seriously I could live without ever having the joys of a faceful of minge again if it meant avoiding that bloody soundtrack forever. I suspect that my abject hatred for the "music" is the real cause of my loathing a movie I've only seen ten mins of, with such passion. Something to do with hearing it all summer long coming out the windows of at least 4 separate specimens of underfucked waynettas, simultaneously by asyncronously.

I liked it when Baby kicked Headmaster Rooney in the face in Ferris Bular's Day Off
She was a bit of a bang out of order grass, toward Ferris mind. But you have to make allowences for envious siblings sometimes,I'm sure Ferris would have...
I've just been down to the shop - all the crap newspapers have run the story that he's got 5 weeks left.

First Jeff Healey and now Patrick Swayze. Is there a Road House curse?
The next thing they'll tell us is that the Double Duece has burned to the ground.

Nah, you're wrong on both counts. I don't love it and I'm not lying about my hatred of it.
I've probably seen about the first fifteen minutes of it. Concluded that it was a crap film, crap soundtrack. Never watched it again.
What's this Dirty Dancing stage show? A musical of the film? Mate at work's missus went to see it and there's some lesbo action in it apparantley. She said if she was a lez she deffo would ![]()

[And Doctor, I hate-hate-HATE "Dirty Dancing." Just so you know.]
I'm under the impression that any girl that doesn't supposedly like Dirty Dancing, its not cause they hate the movie, but only because they are jealous.
Jealous that they didn't, or haven't, gotten a relationship like 'baby' got. The fox and the grapes syndrom....![]()

Thanks for clearing that up, Edel!
I actually loved it when it came out, but I was only young. I don't like chick flicks usually but it's harmless, what's to hate? There is definitely histeria about it in some quarters though.
The soundtrack is one of my guilty pleasures - Hungry Eyes and She's Like the Wind ![]()

Right you are!
In addition to kicking death's arse, Sam Elliot really makes me want to eat beef for dinner.

What's to hate.......?
Let me tell you Starvin'........I was a young fella, 17 to be precise, and me and 3 mates headed to Cap Dag in southern France in the summer of '89 for some sun........It was a cheap afair, £89 all in. 10 nights in a huge sweaty frame tent but travelling by coach / ferry.........Going was fine, we were even put on an overnight train when we got to Calais cos of Bastele day celebrations........The return journey was a different kettle of smelly fish......indeed for 20 hours on that return journey a party of hardened Glaswegian "women" made sure that that FRIGGIN FILM WAS THE ONLY THING THAT WAS SHOWN ON THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!! That's what there is too hate my dear......The stench from those leary twats was overwelming let me tell thee.......... ![]()

One day Jenn, when yer old enough, you'll understand what we're talking about![]()
Oh man, back when I was first married my husband spent weekends away with his son, who lived out of town. We were in an apartment and so we had cable, this movie was on every weekend and I watched it everytime. Loved it. It's so campy and cheesy, but the ending is fabulous. Then we moved into a house, the spawn came into town for the weekends, and I was mocked into not watching it. *sigh*
worry about living, bastards, not death. spend too much time worrying about death never get anything done. well if i walk on the sidewalk a car might hit me. fuck you,how else are you going to get where you're going then. hang glide? watch out for that tree. boom!

Er, no! I hate it because it's a shit movie (and I hate chick flicks anyway)! BTW, the whole "five weeks to live" thing is apparently a pack of lies.
