It's basically abandoned buildings, but some of the pics are, while a bit disturbing, quite stunning.

[and trust me, i've seen enough pics on this site to be scared shitless.]

I worked audio on a student film crew filming in an abandoned state mental hospital. There was an eerie sensation of all the accumulated human suffering that kind of hung in the air.

During a break in filming, I took a skateboard for a ride through the dark, deserted hallways. Turning one corner, I rode up to a set of double doors with a light on the other side. I stopped and looked through the glass portholes... There were mental patients in hospital gowns and orderlies on the other side.

Turned out we were filming in an abandoned wing, not an abandoned hospital.
