Joba, A-Rod and Phil Hughes go gate to gate in the AL East, taking the series from the Joe Torre led-Dodgers. What say you, non-soccer loving NO fanatics?

That would be a fair comment Edel, apart from the fact that Rounders is not open to improvement...You can give it a bigger bat and Bastardise it though,apparently.![]()
baseball...an excuse to sit around for three to four hours and drink "beer" (if one can really call Coors or Budweiser beer)...
it's also good if you want to take a nap...I can turn on a baseball game, lay down on the sofa, and guarantee that I'll be asleep in about 15 minutes...
And Americans say that the beautiful game is boring...the fuck it is...
Mets, Mets, Mets (and the Mariners, for the AL). The Red Sox are the new Yankees (like we needed another one
). Can't disagree if people don't like it, but it's what we played growing up. Drinking loads of beer (they sell more than that crap up here Jeff!), working on one's tan, and baiting "RED SUX NATION" fans is part of the charm of going to games live; I have the Mets game on TV whilst doing other things around the house.

Coors isn't really beer, is it? I think it is urine collected from bars up in the Rocky Mountains, so it is kinda sorta tastes and smells vaguely like beer. The bathroom urinals may have pipes connected to the "brewery". It is like recycling, so in that sense it is good for the environment. Residents of Colorado would never drink Coors.
Think they often sell watered down beer at the parks anyway, so people will drink more and not get too drunk.
