Def Leppard "Pyromania" jump started hair metal
"Hysteria" is a stone cold classic
"Pour Some Sugar on Me" best hair metal somg
Without question, it has to be this lot from the early 80s.
Fuckin' classic they were - even if they were a notorious fire hazard in their time!! I remember Ian McCulloch even saying in an interview that he hated Mike Peters cos he was jealous of his hair - the fucking pussy! ![]()

Who could forget those chest beatin' wind-blown anthems like "68 Guns", "Where Were You Hiding (When My Wind Broke)" and "Spirit Of '76"?? Bono, Adam and the Edge don't have a hope in hell of winning a back-combing competition with this bunch even if they stood in front of huge industrial rotary fans at the top of Beachy Head cliff top first....

Cinderella...
I could just lock this thread now, since the proper answer has finally been given...
'best' implies there is a good hair band out there...
They are equally all shite... then shite... now extra shite
poped 'best hair band' into google images and found this:
Must be one heavy on Jeff's and Biggie's rotation.![]()

Probably...they had a hair better than too many women
Anyone here remember the very first time we saw them Kings Of Leon chancers (crikey, yet ANOTHER fucken "K" band)? They looked hilarious - exactly like the sort of hirsute hippy throwbacks you'd expect to see presenting Open University music course programmes in 1971. Needless to say, their hair has been getting kind of shorter lately.....

Seconded! They're playing Belfast in June with Whitesnake but I'm not gonna be going - my older sis (who was a metaller when she was younger) wasn't up for it and I don't know anyone else who is. Plus, my bank balance won't let me. Typical! ![]()
I'm quite partial to them I'm a bit of a rocker on the quiet!
My workmate was given a last minute invite to a Fancy Dress last week and didn't know what to go as. For some reason the drummer popped into my head and I suggested this to him. Sure enough, he donned a Rocky type t-shirt, a wig from the fancy dress shop, a drum stick and he tucked his arm in his t-shirt. He said it went down a storm.![]()

Did the audience "get" the lame joke, or did they think they were cool? Was it ironic... or irony on irony?
It's hella funny how their fake playing barely matched any of the song, they even have two live drummers for this lip sync performance of a mostly electronic track... truely very horrible in every respect, you have to give them props for that.
Well, I never was a fan of those guys. But their music was OK. And the hair - Boy the 80s were the days. :D
White Lion, Winger, Skid Row, Enuff Znuff, Bang Tango, LA Guns, Cinderella, WASP, Poison, Bon Jovi, argh the 80's , thank god they've passed..lol
