This year is a big fat load of nothing compared to the last few years.
Since Editors tours finished, there hasnt been much. Its not looking good for later in the year either... Oh well, will have some of the regulars back next year!

Be prepared! They're bloody terrible live. Which is a shame because on record they're quite good.
MGMT a week tommorrow at the ABC. They're actually third on the bill behind The Futureheads and CSS. Best album of the year so far tho. Facking incredible actually, can't get enough of it.
Might watch The Futureheads but ceratinly won't stay for CSS as I've a very early flight the next day and I despise their style-over-substance-one-trick-pony-lezzy-pop with a passion. And in all serousness, I reckon this must be easily the tenth time they've played in Glasgow over the last two years. Gotta milk it before you get found out tho I s'pose. ![]()
MGMT is tomorrow night at the Doug Fir, though I'm not sure I can manage that one logistically given my work for the week...
Love the album as well at any rate.
LADYTRON on the 30 April!
Then it's THE POLICE on whenever the new scheduled date is at M.E.N Arena.
Kate Rusby on 7th May in Wakefield and I'm making JT come with me it was either that or Steelye Span in Halifax!
After that I think it's The Whip on 23 May at Leeds Cockpit
I am so.. untrendy
Just booked tickets for Bomb The Bass (they're playing at the Astoria on 6th June - a Wednesday, so I'd better be working from home that week!)...

New album out this year... :)
"Into The Dragon" was their first album, then "Unknown Territory", then "Clear" (which featured "Bug Powder Dust"), and in between then and now, some stuff via Electric Tones (including a single with Lali Puna).

That's not funny. I'm really going there :D . Maybe it's the last chance before they retire. I'm not a big fan - but hey... Who can say that he/she saw them live
