Well, the TV tower has to be done, obviously.
If onyl so you can sit at the bar and drink Pina Coladas because you're too scared to have a proper look down.
Check out whats on at the Columbiahalle as well. Cracking venue.

,going to be doing checkpoint charlie and the reichstag if there still there.
Mi dad sir
told me to check out Spandau (if it's still there) as he was one of Rudolph hess's guards in the 60's (mite av been pulled down now tho)

He did do; as far as I remember, it was called Cocoon. I don't know if he still has it or not, though.

I've been 4 times and I love the place!
For a guided tour with a difference, consider the Trabant safari:
We did it last time and it was great fun!
They depart from Kochstrasse, which made us laugh
Enjoy!!![]()
Musems Insel. The Pergamon Museum is a must. It houses the Pergamon Altar from the Classic version of Troy and The Ishtar Gate from ancient Babylon. You know, "By the rivers of Babylon.... ."
Check the DAVID BOWIE sites-loads of stuff to SEE if you like BOWIE.
I am THE RETURN OF THE THIN WHITE DRUNK.![]()
tachalles bar, oranienburgerstrasse. not been for about ten years, but i spotted it on some travel prog last year so its still there, galleries, artist studios, bars and open air theatre, first time i was there, there was two guys swordfighting around a single decker bus which sticks out of the ground on its end

Did Berlin on a stag before Xmas. Suffice to say, I don't remember much about it! ![]()
We did all our socialising in the former East of the city though, as one of the lads had lived in Berlin 20 years and reckoned it was the best area to hang out in.
Olympic Stadium is a must too (if their football season is on when you're there) and it was only 9 euros to get in to see Hertha play. The old stadium is sort-of 'conjoined' on the side of it so that's worth taking a look at as well.
For some reason Berliners drink their Weißbiers with brightly coloured syrups in there - bright green or luminous red were all the rage.

Nope, Väth owns the Cocoonclub in Frankfurt. In berlin u have Tresor (the almighty ubertechnoclub, http://www.tresorberlin.de/) and if wanna try a latenight/early morning in Berlin u must check out Club Watergate (http://www.water-gate.de/program2/index.html). This is place is famous for it's ultrafine sounsdystem and great night which usually run till late in the afternoon. Otherwise try Bar 25 (http://www.bar25.de/), also great for drinks and parties. But there's much more to see and do..
N-Joy!

It's the most sensible answer I've seen here...

Yep. East of the City seemed to be the best place to be. Unless you're looking for Irish Bars, which we obviously were. ![]()
