the thing with wine gums is they have different types of wine, err including port, on different colours, what's that all about, surely they should be the flavour of the wine listed?

You do realise I'm going to have to buy a bag of wine gums now.

I have my best people working on it as we speak.

(Well, I've offered the wine gums around the lads.)

How big is the sample size Col. This needs to be the definitive research ?

Sample of eight (8) men.

It would be nine but Steve doesn't want to take part.

There's not enough for everyone to have one of each colour anyway.

I bet Marie fucking Curie didn't have this trouble.

Glad to see you are taking this seriously Col.

I await with Black Wine Gum baited breath the results

The last time I bought a packet there wasn't even a black one in it, I was gutted.

I have had the same problem, i Believe if the packet shows a Black one and there isn't one in there, you may have a case under trading standards.

YEAH, and you bloody well get white ones! if you'd really bought wine gums you'd know that.

It's a fair cop.

I didn't buy any wine gums this morning and if I had done I certainly wouldn't share them with the reprobates in here.

They all laughed at me today because I said diameter when I meant to say circumference. The bastards.

I was going to make up some results and publish them here. I did it to look cool in front of you all.

I'm sorry.

Wine gums (or winegums) are chewy, firm sweets similar to gumdrops, except they are not sugar-coated. They are manufactured from animal gelatin, mixed with sweeteners, flavourings and colourings. They are extremely popular in Ireland and the United Kingdom, as well as in Commonwealth nations such as New Zealand, South Africa and Canada, and other northern and middle European countries. Popular brands include Bassett's (or Maynards in Canada, the UK and Ireland).

look a bit like gummy bears...no?
