no, that's with good reason.

Oh...I stand corrected...
erm...I have a fear of...actually...the only thing I can think of that scare me are heights...
hmmmmm
Ships. Being in a small boat beside a giant ship, or down the pier steps beside one, I'm usually terrified.
Also, anything I don't recognise on the end of my fishing line fills me with terror.
And that bloke who's "half man half tree". Remember Les on Vic Reeves Big Night Out, when he was shown chives, that's me when I see him.
Nuns. (my brother used to tell me that mum and dad hated me and that they'd arranged for the nuns to take me away).
Light switches.
Birds.
Drain pipes. (could be full of rats)
Apart from that,i'm a well balanced individual![]()
Dead animals freak me out something chronic. I dont have any problem with handling prepared (ie unrecognisable as what it was) meat or any type of fish, but I have to look away when I see big roadkill

You are afraid of a country run by Obama!!!
LIAR!!!
fear of feeling and watching my blood gush out of my body like a fountain
fear of seeing my bones outside my skin
fear of having my eyeball shishkabobbed on a stick while watching with my other eyeball
fear of being immortal
fear of dying while i feel it is happening
fear that people will look at me in disgust
fear that everything i eat is actually gross dead stuff

No idea who Dan is, but the rest sound pretty rational to me!
Spiders
Heights (if I got no rail to hold on to)
Ladders (I guess that goes with heights somehow)
Planes

OK then...
dizzying unbounded heights (for instance, window washer or construction worker on a skyscraper) and deep water are at the top of my list, flying on a airplane never ever bothered me at all.
Not irrational anymore, but I don't really like most dogs very much (bitten by a german shepard as a kid).

dan rather used to be the anchor of the CBS evening news until he had to resign after reporting on george bush's air national guard service using forged documents.
he always looks mean and angry on the telly. jennings (ABC--now deceased) and brokaw (NBC) were much better.
Being holed up in a supermarket with a Farm record being played over the instore PA against my will.

Thought it might be "Kenneth, What's the frequency!!??!!"

Remember you're not paranoid if they are after you. ;)
the few roaches i have seen and screamed at i think are after the cats.
I am irrationally scared stupid of the following:
--heights. --spiders. --caterpillars. --a good majority of insects. --complete and total darkness. --total silence. --failure. --death.
*and before y'all start, yes, i know it's bound to happen to all of us at some point down the road, but i truly am afraid of death, and i'm even more scared stupid of dying. the fear jumps up 100% when i'm at a funeral!*

Ah, yes, I think Jonathan Charles is the BBC's equivalent!
Earthquakes (I'm OK with small ones----just absolutely afraid of a huge one with lots of damage, like the one in the Osaka region back in 1995, or Tokyo circa the 1920s.....I'm lucky to have never encountered a huge one, though, living in Japan.)
Ants, spiders, etc etc
Volcano eruptions
Fire

i'm not as frightened of dan rather as i used to be, though. on david letterman's first show back since 9/11, he had dan rather as a guest. halfway through talking about what had happened and why, the man burst into tears and they went to commercial break. perhaps he is human, after all (just barely).

normal 20 year old worries... you'll get over it soon enough.
Heights or standing close to a ledge, I can picture myself flying over the edge.
Bridges (I live by an interstate that collapsed last summer)
Calling people on the phone, can't even order a pizza without freaking out.
