Things always look so much more on an architect's conceptualization. On second look that shopping center, or whatever it is, actually looks rather boring.
I know what I'm talking about. Here in Canberra they develop a new town and thus town center every 10 years or so.
On paper everything always looks so vibrant and colourful with cafes and pedestrians. The reality is very different. Only years later do they get around to fixing up their mistakes with opening up the malls, or creating pedestrian zones.
