Mot a bad race, considering I usually brace myself for Spain as the dullest race of the year, all the drivers know it like their own driveway after doing 3 GP's a day 5 days a week there most of the winter.

Dissappointed with the McRons, was sure that the Red Car's pace was limited to Herman Tilke's Wipeout2097 tracks. Still they were closer, and so were the beamers, and Renault for that matter.

BTW, forgot to say, as far as I know, the radio commentators work off the same TV feeds and timing screens as everyone else. Basically they didn't show very much of the scene once the severity of the impact was realised. Probably after the repulsive scenes in 99 where the helicopter camera zoomed in on the medical crews performing CPR on the already deceased Mr Paulo Gislimberti. And nothing's ever made my blood run colder than after Luciano Burti hit the wall at Spa, Brundle saying "actually, I don't want to see any more replays of this" with a really ominous tone. Fair play to Irv that day who ran right up to the crash and directed the marshalls so as not to injure him more.
