The Dalek voice have been done many ways, the centre tap referred to, a ring modulator (almos the same thing when set as they do it), and even alledgedly, scraping the oxide off the tape!!!!!

(don't buy that one at all, as the Daleks have never been done in post, always live on set to scare the actots, though they may be re-dubbed in post).

Got two other worthy pressies from the universe as well............

1. I accidentally found Ron Grainer's original version of Dr Who, all harpsicords and Sax's and big band brass.

2. I got Grand Prix legens to work again. It'd been broken since august last year, by the new Nvidia drivers. Change ONE setting from 1 to 0 and bingo. I've got so many driving games, some ultra modern looking. But there is no experience in computer gaming/simulation, like tipping a 1967 Eagle Weslake into the Curva-Grande at 185Mph, and essentially trying to plot an almost balistic trajectory round it. Better than sex (nearly).
