Ah yes, those 'other' German knob twiddlers Propaganda have a rather interesting CD coming out in the 2nd week of July for anyone who can remember them.

It's called Outside World and will feature rarities of remixes that have never been released on CD including promo versions and stuff only available in Japan type thing. And its all been chosen by the fans apparently.

Should be excellent if its even half as good as their Wishful Thinking remix album released back in the mid-80's.

Excellent stuff there Mickey my man! Where did you read this news from? A Propaganda compilation is long long overdue! I hope it just features stuff from their classic "Teutonic Abba In Hell" line up of the mid-80s and not that tepid one they limped back with a few years later (half of Simple Minds and a chanteuse with a very big nose called Betsi).

Does it also feature all their A-sides and B-sides then (cos they never brought out more than four singles in all)? Their version of "Femme Fatale" is simply wicked!

Claudia Brucken, wasn't she married to Paul Morley at one stage? And musically linked with him too in some project or other?

I telephoned ZTT mail order this afternoon and they confirmed it is being released in the 2nd week of July.

All the stuff apears to be from A Secret Wish era and Femme Fatale is included.

eil.com and the word "bargain". Not something you hear together very often!! Have you seen how much they're charging for the True Faith CDV? Bleedin' daylight robbery....

Has anyone ever got the CDV working? ... I bought it when it first came out and over 15 years have never come across a machine that can play the damn thing!

Most new generation DVD players can play them Fruity one.

I think we have the most stubborn DVD in the entire world. Sometimes I put something popular like 'The Matrix' (translation ... Buttman's Elaborate Adventures in Chest World') and it goes ... nop, sod that.

I tried the CDV in this DVD machine and it span for a bit then the draw came out and I swear I heard it laughing.

I've got a Mac with a DVD on 'cause I'm posh like that so I'll try it on that. Cheers for the tip ... I thought I might have to buy a Kodak picture player or something that bombed around 1988 like a mongoose.

No, it wasn't any good - even though Susanne Freitag (mmm mmm!) was featured on one track "Vicious Circle", I was surprised the band even bothered returning with that album as it's not a patch on the stuff they did when they had THAT line up!!
