WTF is going on? 5 stabbed in Leeds last night and 3 here in my hometown Rugby. Was in town last night.Had been out all afternoon actually with one Coventry fan and one Leicester fan.Was fascinating watching them both go through the mill as they squirmed to the final whistle watching Stoke v Leicester.Weird sitting through a game and people cheering or groaning every few minutes although nothing to do with the game that was being shown but events elsewhere

Came home about midnight.Walked through town and nothing untoward happening.Find out today the was a massive brawl about 2am.1 dead 2 injured.

Saw the sand put down to soak up the blood outside the town centre church this afternnon where the mass brawl occured.Whole street taped off.Lad who died was just 20.Rumours it was a fight between Coventry and Leicester fans.

And there's me sayin to my mum just the other day that kids today don't have what it takes to organise a good old-school bank holiday ruck.

Can't say I did Johnny, can't say I did.

Witnessed some fuckin blinders though. Bangor from the 50's to the mid 80's was Norn Iron's answer to Brighton, all manner of yoof tribes would descend for a Bank Holiday riot.

I was a young bystander until I wasn't so young anymore, then I knew better anyway, Besides, never was much of an anything anyway, wouldn't have known who to throw cider bottles at (other than the park keeper, and the bowling club, but that was in my later years).

Northampton and Newcastle fans have both stopped off in this town and caused mayhem in the past.Northampton i can understand stopping by because we're near neighbours but fuc knows why Newcastle fans took a stop gap from their journey home on the train once and tried to flatten the town centre.

Be interesting to see what the Sarf London stab/death count is for the weekend. Seems to be the hotspot for these things lately, although less and less reported due to its frequency.

I blame it on the busses.

(and people who put knives into other people)
