I mean isnt that sending out the wrong message, the man needs to lay off the pies.As for the new song, hmmm it's not the best, it isnt a patch on their earlier work; Boys Dont Fry Chilling a Kebab LoveFats Munching Someone Else's Grain CHocolate Sometines In Between Diets

Heard a bit of it today and it sounds like a rip of Just Like Heaven.

'Close To Me' is now being used to advertise/promote 'UKTVFood - 'Food Heroes 2008'

Seems like EVERYONE is now in on the joke that is The Cure...

Sounds like déjà vu.

Middle of the road, but not bad.

I still maintain their last great album from start to finish was Head on the Door. After that, they ended up dragging out 2 minute songs into 7 minutes.

um, it sounds a bit like "left over(s)" from the "wish" album.

nonetheless, it's worth purchasing, imo!

and a video. (a few of the other new songs are much better than this first single.)

Colin, that is NOT cool OR funny man, seriously, you need to grow up.

I thought it was a link to the sound of an old lady having a prolapse amidst a serious shiting session, or maybe the sound of a gasses escaping from a decomposing pig carcas. But man, you sick fuck, that actually links to fat bob.

Sickening.

Disgusted of Bangor.

PS, I think £40 should cover the mental anguish damages.

Fuck me...I forgot that Fat Bob always sounds like he needs to puke...

other than that...it's not entirely bad...

like new order you get the feeling they are just going through the motions. they are just a little to comfortable and self assured to make a risky album. solid elder statesman stuff but i'd rather buy the re-issues. Offensive? Unsuitable? Report this comment.

Ignorant fucker...hasn't heard that the order ain't going through any motions right now...

but I just loved this little gem:

Oops I forgot to mention my all time favourite Cure song

10 Ice Creams on a Saturday Night.

Might explain a thing or two.

I fucking wish I was that witty...

Nothing great at all...it's a shame they still don't have O'Donnell in the band, it sounds like the same boring album filler they've had since '96 :banghead:
