The Link works again.

Errrm... Why remake that film? It was a good film with a nice nude scene of Harvey Keitel (I even got myself the original 'nude'-movie poster :love2: ).

Does Werner Herzog have no good ideas of his own anymore? As I remember "Bad Lieutenant" was a small independent movie and no big money machine. So :wtf:.

And Nicolas Cage :skeptic: :barf: should be banned from film making anyway.

cage should have stopped making film after Valley Girl, far and away his best work. okay are they going to remake every movie ever made?

maybe because most self-respecting filmmakers won't let him near "quality" films. ever notice how the only good roles he has are playing buffoons (Wild at Heart, Raising Arizona)?

but at least this news is more encouraging. lynch and herzog working together, and lynch producing a new jodorowsky starring the most beautiful woman in the world. talk about a fan-gasm.

It seems Holly wood is choosing to remake films that were cult classics, but not widely known, hoping the average baffoon doesn't realize its a remake... at least that's my guess......

But Cage has done some really good movies, but they are in the minority of his work

Leaving Las Vegas Fast Time at Ridgemont High Raising Arizona City of Angels Family Man Lord of War Ghostrider

everything else is shite....

Will give Cage a chance to overact crazy style, which is his strength (or weakness)

Wild At Heart is interesting, flawed but cool David Lynch Face/Off is stupid fun

Just to let you know, Nic Cage will be in Bangkok Dangerous. Haven't seen the original, but why do we need an American version? Oh, wait, I saw The Departed. D'oh! Anyway, you're right to think that he's the king of remakes.
