A friend of mine at work just got me into this game 2 months ago, and its quit addictive. Then I saw Spotnick saying he plays it, so I decided to ask the question who plays wow? Who knows maybe we could start a new order guild?
So if you do, what and where do you play? I play on the PVP server Manoroth and I play a 40 priest and a 39 Druid. (Of course this could be higher when you read this)
Nope, but, the South Park episode on the same theme - "Make Love Not Warcraft" - is, IMO, their best ever effort yet.

I played it for about two years, raided tons and then quit three different time and came back twice. I'll be back for the next xpac though.
Never played it..... wouldn't pay above my broadband cost to play a game on-line.
I play mainly FPS, Counter Strike, TFC and Unreal Tournament

Quite simple, you're a character in a virtual world, you do quests and earn experience points and gold.
But since it's live, you are not alone, you can group with other players to do quests or many other things.
Seems boring that way, but it's highly addictive.. especially when you find yourself a "guild" of people who you actually enjoy chatting with.
As for the price... for 15$/month, that's probably the cheapest entertainment you can get, that's fifty cents a day for 24/7 entertainment.
I wouldn't do the same if I wasn't divorced probably...
