Anyone been to see it yet? Saw it yesterday, it's been getting a panning lately, but it was still a good addition to the series. Harrison still holds his own.
There are still some of Spielberg's flashes of brilliance in there, and there's the same humour in thee too, often at the expense of Harrison's age. "What are you...about 80 or something?" My only misgiving is basically the same as what was wrong with 007 DIE ANOTHER DAY. A series of films that you would normaly associate with stuntwork, suddenly replaced with CGI,doesn't cut it. It doesn't completely ruin this one, because "Harrison" is still up there swinging on ropes/whips. All set in the 50s this time: 50's Commie paranoia, atomic bomb testing,Shia LeBeouf sporting Marlon Brando's WILD ONE get-up and a DA haircut (Ducks Arse).
And to tie it to the rest of the series, there's a glimpse of the Ark Of The Covenant! And Marion returns. Not quite a spoiler, because she's on the poster.
