I don't know if he'll read this, he seems to dip in and out of here at will ... but Johan was one the shining lights of this site when it first started out. And also David's site, as I recall.
And that article he did for "Paradise" after the Technique US tour of '89 was the inspiration for some of us on our travels ... haven't we all just wanted to daub TECHNIQUE in foot-high lipstick up the side of a hire car? Well, mebbe not, but you get the idea. He made following a band across the globe sound such fun, in a pre-internet day when travel weren't quite as easy and plainsailing (and cheap) as it is now.
