I don't know if that's true or not, but it's strange enough to catch anyone's attention.
I see that this board is up to the same usual stuff -- top 5 lists, people disliking the Cure, posts about Amy Winehouse. I don't think I've been here in months -- not intentionally, but sometimes you just get involved with other things.
I was wondering, since some of you NOOLers do enjoy the Cure, are any of you planning to attend either New York show?
Nope. I have nothing against the cure, i like a few songs but the pictures of Smithy on the recent tour are horrifying.

I think they were here in Dallas on Friday...I opted to go to a friends place, get loaded and piss about on the internets instead...

I saw them almost a month ago in Boston and they played so great. Surely you'll like it

I have the Boston concert on mp3...and 3 of the 5 new songs they played are very good

Saw them in San Jose a week or two ago and they were very good. Only played one of the good new songs, Sleep When I'm Dead, but oh well.

I had to miss the Boston show because of being sick for a few weeks, but I'm excited to see Porl. I remember seeing them in 2004 with Mike and Kamar and they were good. The only thing missing is Roger O'Donnell.
Porl is doing so great....amazing guitar player 
If Boris Williams would join again....the live performances of the band would be AWESOME.

Looks like they've only gotten more popular over the years then. Saw them twice in San Jose, at the height of their career, both times at San Jose State. The HP Pavilion is quite a step up in size.
I'm sure Digi Mike will be suitably impressed. :D
