Glasto tonite was largely a pile of shite alreet: They should have renamed it COLDPLAYGLASTO and have done with it - Seven songs! I ask you! All dreary plodding monotonous indie-lite bollocks.... they make Travis sound like Slayer fer fook's sakes! Even Doves were rather dull - despite having their singles aired ("Pounding" is the better of the two actually - it even rips off "Bizarre Love Triangle"s chorus - listen carefully to the chords, seriously!). Ash's female guitarist is looking more and more like PJ Harvey by the minute! And what can I say about Garbage? Jesus, they used to be good you know!!

Well, me canny good gadgie, listen up: today we had No Doubt About It Then Aren't We A Pile O' Shite?? and Electric Soft Shite Parade being the main "attractions" of the afternoon coverage - harrumph! - I got that bored after the forst twenty minutes I promptly clicked off an' went to entertain wor bonny bairn instead (she wis insisting I help her wiv a little "sound recording" on'or little kiddywinky computer thingy - sweet!). Much better music therapy for my poor frazzled lugs, don't ya think??

A better set of shite today - and wor lass Lauren Laverne (whom I once shared a cab with without realising who she was) was doin the presentin honours as well.... ...highlight has to be the unexpected sight of Isaac Hayes playing a version of "Chocolate Salty Balls" (really!) - seeing those backin' singers gettin their teeth round the words was pretty funny to say the least! BRMC were capable Mary Chain rip-offs as I expected, and Badly Drawn Boy looked like a reet sack of shite with that hair and hat and beard.....fook me!

But Rod Stewart headlining tonight - with special guest appearance from that dreary fookah Kelly Jones? No thanks....
