I had a pair, not 'cos of Hooky, but 'cos i went through a temporary Goth phase in 1986, and it seemed to be the only thing to wear to go see the Neff in, and to look slightly miserable at house parties and get excited when 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' came on the stereo.

Leather trousers are one trend I refuse to buy into.

They're uncomfortable to wear, make you sweat and get out of shape very easily. They're also usually worn by people who have no dress sense.

it became trendy in new york a few yrs back among yuppies. It was disturbing to see these dull people trying to look risque. What was also horrifying was they would usually tuck their shirt in.:eek3:
