It's funny you should ask, because I found something earlier today that I'd completely forgotten I had! It's a 12" promo for Blue Monday 88, with the "DJ Only" mix on the other side. There's no info on the label or sleeve, and the number is Fac73R (same as the regular release) so I can't tell you much more!

Although not at all valuable, I'm particularly fond of my white label Technique vinyl, for the simple reason that I got it a full two weeks before release.

Indeed OLD BLUE the true value of a PROMO is it IS A MUST that you get it BEFORE the BONA FIDE release comes out.A valueless item by nature but a beauty recently was when SHACK sent me "HERE TO STAY"..his OWN promo.ie he had heard it played on XFN 4 weeks before proper release and recorded it on CD-R...cost 35p....real value to me..PRICELESS..."A FRIEND DROPPING IN". Your right, and the only reason I have it is that I saw it in the bins in some store in SF years ago; haven't seen anything else like it since.

I have some really BRILLIANT ELECTRONIC CDs that are PROMOS,and the 10 inch singles too.I also got LATE AT NIGHT PROMO VIDEO!Nice...but some of the early ELECTRONIC like the withdrawn 7 inch promo for "GET THE MESSAGE" are really worth having.I too love this group although the are different from JD/NO.The TWISTED TENDERNESS PROMO sampler is also great but i have now NOT got the contact for such PROMOS has the guy went and got PROMOTED...the PLONKER. :lol: CHEERS GREEN...ROCKET MICK
