Al, dont know if i fancy that for the hols, but i can see it getting hammered on a nightshift

I recommend just about any boxer's autobio,because they have everything from a human element,and nearly always have interesting life stories..I never tire of them.

Some good un's are Joe Frazier's Thomas Hauser's-Ali his Life and Times is the benchmark for the myriad of Ali Biographies..It's a mammoth read but well worth it.

More recent ones,which are steady reads are Cazaghe's-No Ordinary Joe...and Ricky Hatton's

I've just started reading Roberto Duran's..

I want Oliver Reed's next.

Ben Franklin's autobiography is a classic. You can tell he is really trying to be honestly unbiased in his views, but really struggles doing it as no person really can be completely unbiased. Amazing life, and a great book...

Collymore and Fowler's books are both well worth a read Gaz.Dunno if you've done them..Gerrard's is cack..Lee Sharpe's I liked also..Oh,I read Strachan's an all.Enjoyed it.You must have read that one tho eh?

What about Ex Celtic Tony Mowbray's-Touched by an Angel? Utterly heartbreaking,mind.I had to stifle the tears.Such a wonderful man amongst men Tony

I am reading Fowlers book at the mo, its quite good. A good, if difficult to read if you are a parent book, is Gloria Huniifords account of watching her daughter Karen Keatings fight against cancer. I also enjoyed local writer, Ian Claytons book, Bringing it all back home

Nope,I throw the kids in pool by day, throw beers down neck by night

and only 2 of the kids are mine, i am not chasin after anybody elses kids
