We all fear and hate dentists....but here's a thought.

You know all these survivalist types, from yer Ray Mears's to your loonies in bunkers......well it's all well and good surviving armageddon, but what do you do when you get a deep infection on a rear molar?

Ans: bullet, because I've considered it many times when I've had a sore gob, and if I'd actually HAD a firearm, bad things woulda happened.

Dunno why people have such a problem with Dentists .I'd easily forego half an hour of pain so i'm not in constant agony from my teeth the rest of my time .I never get tooth ache or tooth problems because i go twice a year.

I went last week due to bad tooth ache, was prescribed Amoxocillin 2 days on the pills knocked fuck out of me, felt like flu and terrible hangover plus whip lash all rolled into one. Visited the docs and had some alternative pills precsribed, now I am as slack as an Essex girl on a Friday night bender

Tis the one top right molar so its gonna mean the old needle in the roof of the mouth job

He's gonne have to strap me down,dont particularly like needles,but the one in the roof of the mouth is a right fucker!

I find the actual extraction itself is far,far worse than the needle. Like the one I had last year. Crunching sound and blood pissing out all over the gaff,getting a second dentist in because the first lad snapped the tooth,and the more experienced guy waded in to hawk it out in three parts,while I had sweat teaming down my nogin..

It took an age..I must have been white as a sheet. I was in a right state,yet had to pretend it was all cool and the gang,as I did'nt want the lass assisting,who happened to be nectar,to know I'm not hard

I very nearly passed out.What a fucking ordeal.

I had bone grafts put in last Thursday by a periodontist. The pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But then again, they gave me a Valium before and some vicodin after!

Prevention is the best thing. Like an idiot I never went for cleanings because of the cost and the lack of time and money and I am paying for it now. My kids go every 6 months like clockwork now. Can you believe with all the problems with my gums I have never had a root canal and had my first filling two months ago? I've got great teeth and crappy gums!

Funny thing tho,he managed to loosen the tooth with his mole-grips and thought it was loose enough to get his hand in and get it between fumb and fore finger,he was tugging like fuck when his hand slipped out of my mouth and he nearly fell over!

So it looks like several beers and a kapake to numb the pain!

In the midst of my 2nd ever root canal (with another one left to go after this :( )

Fucker hurts more before they get-r-done though, killing the nerve is a godsend, plus I get to look like someone from a blue state instead of when I'm older. The only downside...VERY time consuming (take like 3 visits w/ root canal, post-core & crown) and expensive as hell. Even w/ good dental insurance!!

Sweet tooth done me in!
