The Passions - Thirty Thousand Feet Over China

Just a quick heads up, in case - as I suspect - there's a bit of fan-overlap around here.

The Passions' second and most successful album Thirty Thousand Feet Over China, featuring their big hit I'm in Love with a German Film Star, is reissued by Cherry Red on 21 July 2008.

The album has been remastered, and includes five bonus tracks - the b-sides from all the associated singles, plus a live recording of album highlight The Square.

Thirty Thousand Feet Over China has been unavailable on CD for many years, and in fact was only available briefly in the 1990s on the Great Expectations label. Copies of this CD have been going for silly money on eBay...and that's without the remastering, bonus tracks and extensive sleeve notes which grace the new version.

Available directly from Cherry Red, or from the likes of Amazon.

Not heard of them before, but this popped up on my recomendations when I was on Amazon earlier.

So someone at Amazon must think that there's an overlap.

Speaking of cherry red, i've just converted my old copy of Pillows & Prayers onto CD. Takes me back to 1983 and my old bedsit days.

What else or WHO else did you take back to that BEDSIT.Marc Almond!?
