Question.....

I have not listened to a cd on a cd player in months or longer. I always listen on my ipod or a sound dock.

So I figured it may be time to sell all my cds. I have them backed up on an external hard drive-so they should be safe.

A guy from Record & tape Traders., a local Baltimore area used and new music store chain is coming out to see my dad's collection. So Should I use the same guy to sell I suppose?

and Yes I still have a LOT of promos (possibly 80-90)from my days at Tower Records. What I do about them??

I haven't listened to cds very often in the last three years... however I had my iPod stolen once... at a time I dropped alot of money in the house and had to wait to buy another... the cds came in handy then.

Remember the basic rule, you won't ever need your cds ever again... until right after you get rid of them

True...

I was taking my promos out of my cd collection (cause used cd places do not buy promos) and was realizing what I would like to listen to (a few of them) and what I will never play again (a lot of it)

So most likely trim my collection to the stuff I would play over and again and sell off what I never care to hear again is more the ticket.

'Cause I was thinking one day I will move and I cannot take all of my cds with me....
