I am a vegetarian. There are a lot of great books out there for vegan/vegetarian cooking.
This website isn't bad.
If you give me some time, I'll find some more that I have researched. If you are in a hurry, just do a search for vegetarian recipes.
I am the only vegetarian in my house, so I have to cook myself something different every day. It gets kind of annoying after a while. :)

A BIG MAC MEAL.
Well i have checked out a lot of BOOKS but i just want some very simple and easy to make meals or snacks that don't involve CHEESE.She is not one of those that DOESN't eat anything from an animal ie MILK etc.But i ain't the most patient of guys when cooking and come from the GORDON RAMSEY "TAKE TWO FUCKING EGGS and........." school of cooking.I got thrown out of scholl for burning the kitchen down! ![]()

Okay, so she's not a vegan, but you can't use dairy, am I right? I'm on it. Just give me a little while.
I know what you mean. A lot of the recipes require a lot of work and I for one hate a lot of the tofu stuff or meat replacement crap. I end up on the brink of a protein deficiency. Eggs are my friend. I can't be a vegan. I love cheese and leather shoes too much. :D
yeah i hate TOFU and find QUORN boring to the extreme. But i ain't making her LEATHER SHOES and CHIPS!

I'm fast. You have to be VERY careful what you post. Never know when someone is going to pounce down your throat.
There are TONS of websites, really. There's also a book on Amazon for college kids that have very basic recipes too. I know I'm not being much help, but I really don't follow recipes.
The Quorn with the Gruyere cheese isn't bad, IMO. Some of the other stuff sucks. I'd rather not eat it at all, which is my problem.
There simply isn't any good food that doesn't have meat. The quicker you realize this the faster you can get back to the song game![]()

Wow, you're so witty.
Well, I'm a veggie (have been all my life)... :)
For simplicity sakes, any kind of pasta with a veggie sauce is easy enough (especially with just pesto)...
Of course, omelettes are easy enough - Spanish ones dead simple - just fry a whole load of vegetables (potatoes, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc), add omelette mixture, then grill to finish off...

but isn't the point that eggs are involved make it no longer vegetarian?

The Subway Veggie Delite sandwich is awesome. I didn't know they had a veggie burger too! I must investigate. It's probably the only decent fast-food vegetarian-friendly place where I live. I can actually eat something there.
Another simple thing I do is grill vegetables like mushrooms, & zucchini and put it on a roll with some roasted red peppers. If that is too bland, you can put pesto on it. It is yummy and takes 5 minutes.
i said it sarcastically but i do like their veggie burger. taste like morningstar-good with mustard and pickles.
And i know they have them in england. i had one in macclesfield.
Tofu would be a good food for vegetarians, although here in Japan, non-vegetarians eat a lot of tofu. I especially like tofu and vegetable sautees.
See, now I like to take some of them snow peas...some carrots...musrhooms...bell peppers...zucchini...throw that shit in my wok with some Hoisin sauce, and stir fry it...
cook up a little rice, and I'm good to go...
