I love Family Guy. Here's a thread for everyone to post favorite episodes, quotes and memoroes from the show.

My favoriute episodes are PYV. where the FFC censors Television and Peter sets up his own TV station. Basically the wjole episode is the writers sticking it to the PCC after they had complained about them.

Griffin Family History. "The story of Nate Griffin. set in the deep south. At the time, the south was a troubled land, full of racial prejudice and discrimantions, where any different was feared"

I dont know the title but the one where Stewie has to go on the run so the family move to Texas, and they got to execute Peter as he's retarted and is rescued by a Horse, who turns out to be Gilbert Gottfried. "Wow! Gilbert gottfried! "That right Peter!" GENIUS.

Again, I dont know the title but the one where Chris witnesses a crime and they are sent on a witness protection scheme to the south. Meg is the prettiest girl in the class and the smartest student is the pig. Peter and Brian end up as the shierrif and become outcasts for telling all the geek southerners about how the Civil War really ended.

How come no one's mentioned Quagmire, the lovable sex pest? He's an icon, I identify with.

Apparently, the chicken stems from the time Peter and Brian travelled back to 1984 and Peter knocked him over at the dance where he got off with Lois. Then, they forgot what they were fighting about, had dinner, and started fighting over who paid the bill.

There was one on the other night where Brian works for Stewie to eanr money for Worms treatment, which is also hilarious.

Favourite scene has to be this. OK, its base humour, but it pisses me every time.

too many great moments. any of the ones with Herbert tend to crack me up, especially when he's playing the organ in church.

unfortunately, i do not care for the show. nooooot funn-eh!

i'll pass. there are better & funny shows out there in tv land that's far worthy of wasting time.

Much of the Adult Swim lineup that Family Guy is also on is well worth watching. It's either edgier, stranger, or far more ironic than the shit you find on network TV.

Currently, the better shows include:

Metalocalypse Tim and Eric The Venture Bros. The Boondocks

but there are a lot of good shows from their past schedule that are great too.

Cheers. I honestly don't think any of those have actually made it over here! I've certainly never clocked of those titles before. Had a look on Wikipedia and none of 'em ring a bell.

If you go to the Adult Swim link on there, they should have a few full episodes up per week. That won't help you much with some of the ones you kinda have to see from the beginning (like Venture Bros.), but it can give you a taste of what's out there. Some of the better other shows include Moral Orel, Harvey Birdman, Frisky Dingo (another one you have to see from the start), Space Ghost, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies, and Tom Goes to the Mayor. A few of their shows are just unwatchable shit, though.

This was a fine episode. Shame its only a still.

I'm sort of in the Eric Cartman camp with family guy....random gags written by manitees etc. But Brian and Stewie both totally and completely crack me up every time.
