Has anyone seen this yet?

Basically, it's the story of a French bloke who decided to walk (on a wire) between the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in 1974 and got away with it quite spectacularly. Sufficed to say the guy has the biggest bollocks of anyone or any of us will likely ever know. I think he was only about 24 when he made the attempt.

It's very, very good :thumb: I highly recommend. The man himself is a right old laugh; a proper French character with a skilful knack of telling his own story.

Obviously, there is something very poignant about this film now that the structures are no longer there although this is not necessarily alluded to in the story...

Watched a downloaded version of this today. Good docu-film. The version i've got doesn't have subtitles though which hampers the parts where his girlfriend is talking in French.

Currently downloading Of Time And The City. Archive footage telling the story of Liverpool (the city not the team). Looks interesting. Not sure about the narrator's (the director) voice though. Great happy uplifting stuff for a January day eh

Does he use them for balance?
