I picked up Doves' latest lp The Last Broadcast this week, it's fucking excellent. A lot more rocking than their debut. Am I alone in this?
There's a point in the song 'There Goes The Fear' where I swear Blondie could sue for royalties becuase it sounds slightly like 'Heart of Glass', but it's over so quick I don't think they'd have much of a case.

Doves' new one certainly is thrilling - and live even more so.
They visited Hamburg for a gig on June 30th, and though they were only a small club and there weren't so much people around (as they don't get played on radio in Germany ... same fate as "Here to stay" ?) they did really well 
!
