T-mobile are offering a free Acer travelmate 5320 laptop (worth £350) for £30 a month (24 month contract). You also get a USB modem stick and broadband.
As wireless broadband is about £15 per month this effectively means you pay £360 for a £350 laptop over 2 years.
Sounds pretty tempting I think.
Has anyone else gone for this or a similar deal? I'd be interested in any comments (well apart from the silly ones).

My bruv has got the t-mobile tinternet dongle jobber,its fookin shite! Not much faster than dial up tbh.
Looked at the deals misel,would say carephone whorehouse vould be the best,admittedly you have to pay a bit more for a higher spec lappytoppy but may be worth it.
Didnt bother in the end,stuck with virgin media,got £12 a month off my bill (£13ppm now) and bought an acer 5920 from pc world for £450.

Sounds like an alright deal ... if you like laptops.
Personally, I can't stand the things. I find them insufferable.
Prefer a proper keyboard and a decent-sized monitor. Give me a desktop any day of the week.
Is it broadband for your home they're offering? Or just a dongle? I've got a dongle (on the 3 network) and I can confirm it is shite. Slow, and prone to losing signal regularly. Haven't used it since I got my Blackberry.
I do need new home braodband though as I'm currently paying £17 a month to Mad As a Fish. And I need a new laptop that I can abuse a bit. Don't like taking my good 'un away. Can you post a link to this deal?

You get the USB stick and mobile broadband. Think you get 28 days to send it back if not happy (ie if signal really is piss poor).
