Los Campesinos! Mucho Bizzarro!

I've always felt there's just not enough Youtube videos of Korean teenagers from Chicago doing choreographed dance routines to twee Welsh indie bands.

calling them a welsh band is like calling editors a brummy band. they met at cardiff uni, they aren't all welsh for instance one member is from midsomer norton & one from whitchurch.

I was watching an interview with the singer and the HOT keyboard/singer gal and noticed they didn't sound Welsh. They had funny accents. Just like yours actually Dave!

I've just watched about 60 seconds of that video and already I'm thinking seriously about going and scrubbing myself clean in the shower before voluntarily marching to the police station and submitting my name to the sex offenders register.

Is this the effect that it's supposed to have??

well whitchurch & m norton aren't far from where i'm from, but i don't think i have a strong west country accent by any means.

am presuming by funny you mean different to yours, as opposed to comical.

I turned it off quickly as I was worried the wife would walk in and think something along the same lines... that would just screw up my day! Thanks alot!

Whitchurch is in north fucking Shropshire and is about 25 minutes from where I'm from!?

My accent is hardly noticeable. I have the chameleon-like ability to blend in anywhere in the English speaking world. I talk proper.

Your supposed to marvel at the bizarre nature of suburban American teens choregographing a dance to a relatively obscure Welsh/West Country version of Belle & Sebastien. Anything else is just plain wrong.

Might I clarify that this video is about the fifth one down when you search 'Los Campesinos' on Youtube and that's how I found it. Honest guv.

They don't look Welsh.
